Naomi Osaka Loses Against Belinda Bencic

Naomi Osaka recently beat Coco Gauff in the U.S. Open and the moment with viral.

Yet her hopes of winning back-to-back titles in New York were stopped by Belinda Bencic.

According to CNN, Bencic beat Osaka 7-5, 6-4 and will face Donna Vekic in the quarterfinals.

Osaka was recently injured, retiring at her previous event with a knee injury two weeks ago.

She said: "I don't want to say that that's the reason that I lost, because I obviously had played three matches before this.”
