COURT ENTRANCE STORY: Danish golfer Thorbjorn Olesen appeared in court on Wednesday (August 21) charged with sexual assault and being drunk on an aircraft, the BBC reported.

The 29-year-old Ryder Cup winner is also facing a charge of assault by beating.

The Ryder Cup winner was arrested after returning from the WGC-FedEx St Jude Invitational on a Nashville to London flight.

He indicated he would plead not guilty when he appeared at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court.

He was granted unconditional bail and is due to appear at Isleworth Crown Court in London on 18 September.
