Liverpool manager Juergen Klopp told reporters that the first target for his side this season is to try and reach the level they attained last year.

(SOUNDBITE) (English) LIVERPOOL MANAGER, JUERGEN KLOPP, SAYING: "After a season, after a break, first and foremost we have to try to reach a level of last year again if it was a good one, and it was a good one.

So that's the first target we have.

When that happens then you can make the next steps but it's not always easy.

It's not Playstation where you can next kill or whatever, we have to bring people together, players together, to do the same thing in the right moment and stuff like this, this is always very important.

Klopp's side kick off the new league campaign with a home match against promoted Norwich City on Aug.
