US Envoy To NATO: Turkey Will Lose F-35 If It Doesn't Walk Away From Russian Deal

The U.S. envoy to NATO said Tuesday America will stop Turkish forces from flying and developing its F-35 stealth jets.

That is, if Ankara goes ahead with the purchase of a Russian air defense system.

But according to Reuters, Turkey’s President Tayyip Erdogan has refused to budge.

That's widened a diplomat rift over conflicting strategy in Syria, Iran sanctions and the detention of U.S. consular staff.

Everything indicates that Russia is going to deliver the system to Turkey and that will have consequences.
