Global Equity Markets Continue To Rise

According to Reuters, equity markets around the world are still on the rise, but their ascent has slowed.

On June 11th, MSCI's all-country world stock index added four-tenths of a percent, while the emerging markets index added about 1-percent.

MSCI's index of Asia-Pacific shares also added about 1-percent on the day.

In Asia, Japan's Nikkei index gained three-tenths of a percent, while the Shanghai Composite index jumped by 2.6-percent.

In Europe, the Stoxx 600 index roes by three-quarters of a percent.

On Wall Street, the top three markets on the New York Stock Exchange continued to rally, but they were collectively up about 1-percent by the afternoon.
