The FDA Discovered 'Forever' Chemicals In Meat, Seafood, Cake

Business Insider reports the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has discovered a class of manmade chemicals in foods sold in mid-Atlantic grocery stores.

The chemicals, which have been linked to cancer, were found in numerous samples of meat, seafood, and chocolate cake.

The per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, or PFAS, became popular in the United States in the 1940s.

PFAS can resist heat, grease, stains, and water.
