Man Lit Himself On Fire Near White House

A man set himself on fire outside the White House on Wednesday.

The U.S. Secret Service said he was being treated at the scene.

Authorities from the National Park Service and U.S. Park Police said on Twitter that the incident took place on the Ellipse near the Washington Mall.

The area is known to be popular with tourists.
