Illinois Governor Proposes $41.5 Billion Plan To Fix Crumbling Infrastructure

According to a report by Reuters, on Friday, Illinois plans to spend 41.5 billion dollars over six years to rebuild roads, bridges, schools and other facilities that have fallen into 'dire shape,' under a preliminary plan floated by Governor J.B.

Pritzker.

The Democratic governor's plan would reportedly be funded in part with 17.8 billion dollars of bonds even an Illinois pays the largest yield penalty among states to sell debt.
