Steph Curry Leads Warriors to Game 1 Win Over Blazers Steph Curry scored 36 points in the first game of the Western Conference finals, as the Golden State Warriors defeated the Portland Trail Blazers 116-94.

Warriors star Kevin Durant missed his second consecutive game after injuring his right calf during Game 5 of the Western Conference semifinals.

Klay Thompson added 26 points for the Warriors, while Draymond Green scored 12 points.

Damian Lillard led the Blazers with 19 points, but he also had seven turnovers.

The Warriors, who are seeking their third consecutive NBA championship, are now three wins away from their fifth straight NBA Finals appearance.

The Warriors and Blazers will meet in Game 2 of the Western Conference finals on Thursday.
