South Korea's Moon Says North Korea's Missile Launch Was Protest Against U.S.

On Thursday, South Korea’s President Moon Jae-in said that North Korea’s latest missile launch was likely a protest against the U.S. According to Reuters, President Moon Jae-in cited the failed summit between the two countries’ leaders in Hanoi back in February.

“North Korea seemed to be discontented it could not reach a deal in Hanoi.” However, Moon added that the North appeared to have refrained from using weapons that directly threaten the United States.
