Super Bowl Boosted CBS Ad Revenue

According to SFGate, the Super Bowl helped CBS record the most first quarter revenue in the network's history.

Although CBS came in under analyst expectations, the company pulled in a record $4.2 billion in quarterly revenue.

The company also posted an adjusted diluted earnings per share of $1.37.

Overall, market analysts on Wall Street expected CBS to post $1.36 earnings per share with $4.3 billion revenue.
