Americans Are Retiring At An Older Age Than Before

According to Business Insider, not all baby boomers are retiring at the age of 60.

The Census Bureau and Bureau of Labor Statistics analyzed Americans over the age of 65.

The report said about 20 percent, a total of 10.6 million people, are either working or looking for work.

People can begin claiming their Social Security benefits at the age of 62.

Yet if they delay their claims they can increase their monthly payout by up to eight percent per year.
