U.S. Has Less Than Two Months To Justify Extradition Of Wikileaks' Assange

According to a report by Reuters, on Friday, US prosecutors have less than two months to present British authorities with a final and detailed criminal case to justify the extradition of Wikileaks founder Julian Assange.

An unnamed US official reportedly said that US authorities had already sent Britain a provisional arrest warrant regarding Assange's extradition to the United States.

Reuters reports that a criminal indictment against Assange which prosecutors in Virginia secretly obtained over a year ago but only unsealed after Assange’s arrest, charges the Wikileaks founder with conspiring with former Army intelligence analyst Chelsea Manning to gain unauthorized access to a government computer.
