What It's Like To Participate In The 160-Mile Marathon Des Sables

The Marathon des Sables, a six-day race through the Sahara desert, is considered "The Toughest Footrace on Earth." The marathon takes place in Morocco in the Saharan Desert.

And Competitors run or walk through 104-degree plus temperatures, carrying their food for the week, says Business Insider.

The race is not for the faint of heart and it lots of competitors don't make it to the finish line.
