U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday held up a map that he said showed that Islamic State no longer holds any territory in Syria as of "last night".

ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday held up a map he said that showed that Islamic State no longer holds any territory in Syria.

En route to Mar-a-Lago, Trump also said he'd nominate conservative Stephen Moore for a seat on the Federal Reserve's Board of Governors.

U.S. Acting Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan briefed President Donald Trump as he was traveling to Florida on Air Force One, spokeswoman Sarah Sanders said.

Trump made the comment to reporters as he arrived in Florida for a weekend trip.
