Protesters Chant 'Shame' as Bill Banning Abortion After Six Weeks Passes Georgia Senate Committee Vote

A bill that would ban abortions after six weeks passed a second Georgia Senate committee vote on Monday, March 18.According to reports from WABE and The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Georgia’s Senate Science and Technology Committee voted 3-2 to move the legislation, Georgia House Bill 481, onwards to a full floor vote.

Republicans on the committee voted in favor of the bill while Democrats voted against it.This footage shows protesters and activists chanting “shame” after the vote passed.
