A survey shows that most Americans aren't confident of saving money this tax season under the Trump administration's relatively new plan.

Poll: Few Americans Think They Will Save Money Under Trump Tax Law

With tax season in full swing, few Americans are hopeful of seeing savings from the Trump administration’s 2017 tax law.????A survey conducted by Reuters and Ipsos found that 21 percent of adults polled think their taxes will decrease 2019.????A higher number, 29 percent believe their taxes will increase.????Over half of those questioned remained in neutral territory…????...27 percent said they thought their taxes would remain roughly the same…????...while 24 percent said they were not sure how the Trump tax bill would affect them.????As for the results among political parties…????...33 percent of Republican voters think they will pay less when they file…????...and less optimistic are the Democratic voters, as 45 percent think their taxes will be higher.????When reports of the IRS issuing smaller refunds surfaced in early 2019, some Democrats pointed to that as proof a majority of Americans were suffering under the Trump tax law.
