European Shares Climb Following UK Parliament Vote

Reuters reports that European shares climbed to a record five-month high on Thursday.

The increase comes on the heels of fading doubts surrounding a no-deal Brexit and possible delays in the U.S. China trade talks.

European stocks floundered following a Bloomberg report that a meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping to discuss the possible trade deal between the two countries was more likely to take place later than expected.
