Thousands Take To The Streets In Brazil For International Women's Day

Reuters reports thousands of people took to the streets in Brazilian cities on Friday to protest a lack of gender equality and violence against women.

Protestors also criticized Brazil’s far-right president, Jair Bolsonaro.

The protests took place on International Women’s Day and were organized by activists in nine Brazilian cities, including Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.
