Abrams Says U.S. Will Continue Taking 'Appropriate Actions' Against Venezuela's Maduro

According to a report by Reuters, on Friday, US special envoy Elliott Abrams said that the United States will continue to take 'appropriate actions' against the government of Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro, including restricting travel visas for dozens of the socialist president's associates.

Abrams reportedly made the statement after the US Treasury Department imposed new sanctions targeting six Venezuelan government officials linked to Maduro.
