New Surveillance Footage Found in Jussie Smollett Attack

The Chicago Police Department has found new surveillance footage related to the alleged attack of “Empire” star Jussie Smollett.????Smollett, an openly gay, African American actor was attacked early in the morning on January 29th by two men who he says shouted homophobic and racial slurs at him.????The attack which authorities are investigating as a possible hate crime, ended with Smollett having an unknown chemical substance poured on him as well as a rope draped around his neck.????Smollett, who suffered a broken rib in the attack, initially did not want to report it but his manager said it would be in the best interest.????Chicago investigators, who are pouring over the new footage, had previously released stills of “people of interest” but have not yet identified them as “homeless or otherwise”.????The Chicago PD says Smollett is cooperating with the investigation and the actor calls the accounts of the attack “100 percent factual”.????Despite not being fully healed from the attack, Smollett performed at an already scheduled concert in California and had this message.????“So I will always stand for love.

I will never stand for anything other than that.”
