'Spongebob' Fans Not Happy Over Brief Super Bowl Cameo

'Spongebob' Fans Not Happy Over Brief Super Bowl Cameo During Sunday's big game, the 'Spongebob Squarepants' song "Sweet Victory" was teased on the halftime show.

But fans of the cartoon were disappointed to only see a brief clip, which was then followed by a performance by Travis Scott.

Last November, a petition was started to have Maroon 5 play the song during the Super Bowl to honor late 'Spongebob' creator Stephen Hillenberg.

The petition went on to get over 1 million signatures.
