The crimson tide are a 20+ point favorite, but the rebels explosive offense gives them a punchers chance.

Wtva sports director jim holder sets the stage for us from oxford.

Jim: 'this has been an interesting series in recent years.

Of course, the rebels pulled off upsets in 2014 and 2015, but alabama's had the upper hand the last two years including that 66-3 debacle last season in tuscaloosa.

Big question tonight, the ole miss defense; can they, will they finally step up.

They've had it rough against texas tech and southern illinois.

Despite those wins, the rebels will have to make a stop or two or three tonight.

We'll see what happens when the rebels and crimson tide square off here in oxford.

We'll have highlights, hopefully post game reaction as well tonight on wtva 9 sports.

For now, reporting from oxford, jim holder wtva 9 sports.'

We may not win every game but we wont lose a party."

Even though the crimson tide is favored by double-digits, fans say that the rebels will still hang in there.

Andy tyer - franklin, tn "i think we are going to hang in really, really well in the first half.
