White House Communications Team Cancels Daily Staff Meetings
Following the recent leak of an offensive comment made about the health of GOP Senator John McCain last week, the White House communications team has now canceled daily staff meetings.
According to The New York Times, a smaller group of communication staffers, rather than the full group of around 30 employees, will met on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays.
The situation started when White House press aide Kelly Sadler said McCain's opinion on Donald Trump's pick to lead the CIA "doesn't matter" because "he's dying anyway."
The White House and Sadler have since refused to publicly apologize.
