Wochit - April 17, 2018

A new policy at Apple allows for some customers to get free service and repairs.

According to a report from MacRumors, Apple issued a new worldwide policy for the Apple Watch Series 2 due to the battery.

Apple will extend free service and repairs for Series 2 Apple Watches for three years after purchase, if the battery begins to expand.

The battery since the watch can swell up, popping the display out of the device.

According to the report from MacRumors, the new policy is specifically for the larger version Series 2, which is about 42 millimeters.
