China's Wang stresses promoting stable, healthy Sino-US relations with Blinken

China's foreign minister Wang Yi and US secretary of state Antony Blinken had a phone call to discuss promoting healthy China-US relations. They also exchanged views on the Israeli-Hamas conflict and emphasized the importance of a cease fire and cease fighting. Wang thanked Blinken for his condolences to former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger. Wang stressed the importance of the Taiwan issue and the need to carry forward Kissinger's diplomatic legacy. They also highlighted the importance of building upon progress made in the summit between their presidents.
