Hamas, Israel signal possible expansion of hostage-deal criteria

Hamas seeks new truce deal with Israel to release more hostages. Israel considers revising truce terms as it expands roster of detainees. The original 4-day truce is extended by 2 days. Under the Qatari- and Egyptian-mediated deal, Hamas has released 50 Israeli women and children hostages in exchange for 150 Palestinian detainees. Israel adds 50 female prisoners to the potential release roster. Hamas still holds fathers and husbands of the hostages they have released.
