Slovak ex-prime minister signs coalition deal with 2 other parties to form a new government

Robert Fico, a populist former prime minister of Slovakia, has signed a coalition agreement with leaders of two other parties to form a new government. Fico's party, Smer, won the parliamentary election with 22.9% of the vote and needed coalition partners to govern with a majority. The coalition agreement includes the left-wing Hlas party and the pro-Russia Slovak National Party.
