Mafia boss Denaro, Italy's most famous fugitive, dies at 61

Matteo Messina Denaro, a convicted killer and high-ranking member of the Sicilian Cosa Nostra who had eluded arrest for three decades, died in a hospital in the central Italian city of L'Aquila, where he was serving time in a maximum-security prison. He was 61.
