Panzer Corps 2: Frontlines - Bulge DLC – Yay or Nay (PC)

The Panthers were always going to be a problem. After all, they are the pinnacle of World War II German armor, and this version of the Wehrmacht seems to have a lot of them. Even a modernized Sherman with a tank-killer crew has trouble with it. The problem is compounded if the Nazis have also brought StugIII’s or their own anti-tank support. United States infantry, preferably Rangers, and solid artillery fire will stop them dead in their tracks, but it requires plenty of both and space to retreat and reinforce units. The lack of fighter-bombers means I need to keep retreating. The idea is to balance the requirement to hold victory points with the need to preserve the most capable units from one scenario to the next. It’s probably time to decide which wounded infantry squads will stay behind and absorb German Panzer attacks while the rest create a more defensible position.
