Pair of Canadian squads sneak into quarter-finals at beach volleyball worlds

Sarah Pavan and Melissa Humana-Paredes and fellow Canadian duo Brandie Wilkerson and Sophie Bukovec each earned three-sets victories at the beach volleyball world championships in Rome, extending their respective unbeaten streaks and advancing to the quarter-finals.
