Kidambi Srikanth, PV Sindhu virtually out of BWF World Tour Finals after consecutive defeats

A week ago P V Sindhu had suffered a demoralising defeat to Ratchanok Intanon and this time too there was no change in fate for the World Champion. Sindhu went down 18-21 13-21 to the third-seeded Thai. Meanwhile, Srikanth enjoyed a 3-0 head-to-head count against Wang Tzu Wei ahead of his match but it mattered little as the Taiwanese world no 12 made a remarkable comeback and secured a 19-21 21-9 21-19 win over the Indian.
