China tries raising Kashmir in UNSC, gets no support

On the first anniversary of India’s revocation of the special status of J&K, China tried to initiate a discussion in the UN Security Council (UNSC) on the issue, but failed to find support from the international community. It was Pakistan which had sent a request in the form of a letter for the discussion. Representatives of the US and other countries though said it was not the right place for this bilateral issue.
