Watch: The remake of Ayodhya

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will perform ‘bhoomi pujan’ as part of 15-minute rituals to formally mark the start of Ram temple construction in Ayodhya on Wednesday. Ayodhya has been decked up for the ceremony. Roads leading to Ayodhya displayed hoardings with pictures of the Ram temple and Ram Lalla, the infant Ram, the deity now housed in a makeshift temple. The city has got a makeover ahead of the occasion. Ram Ki Paidi, the river front of Saryu is all painted with Rangolis and paintings highlighting Ramayana. 175 eminent guests will be present on the occasion along with over 100 seers.
