60k people affected by flood in six Assam districts

The flood situation in Assam remained serious on Sunday with nearly 60,000 people still affected by the deluge in six districts, officials said. The flood waters receded from Lakhimpur district but entered two new districts Dhemaji and West Karbi Anglong, they said.
