Previous FM blames Egypt, Israel over standing by Sudan takeover

(MENAFN) Previous Sudan–s Foreign Minister Mariam al-Sadiq al-Mahdi blamed Egypt and Israel over standing by what she labeled a –military coup– in Sudan. Al-Mahdi stated during an online council held by US think tank, the Atlantic Council, that most nations refused the –coup– in Sudan. She added "Even countries that wanted to support the coup, like Egypt for example, was not able to do so. It remained silent," and said –Egypt, pushed by the strong US position during the US-Egypt Strategic Dialogue, was forced to condemn the coup."
