Agriculture minister launches Sarathi portal for insurance products, helpline to resolve crop insurance-related grievance

Agriculture minister Arjun Munda unveiled the 'Sarathi' platform, which seeks to provide a full suite of insurance products, including PMFBY, geared specifically for farmers and rural populations in India. To reinforce the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana's (PMFBY) grievance redressal mechanism, the minister also created the Krishi Rakshak portal and helpline number 14447, which allows farmers to register their issues.
