51-inch idol of 5-year-old Ram picked for Ayodhya

Mysuru sculptor Arun Yogiraj's shyamal vision of five-year-old Ram Lalla was unanimously selected as the idol for the Ram temple. The idol's pran pratistha will be done on January 18 during the auspicious 'Abhijeet Muhurta'. Most of the ceremonies will be completed in advance, with around 8,000 high-profile guests attending the main event. General secretary Champat Rai said the idol's pran pratistha would be done during the auspicious ‘Abhijeet Muhurta’ from 12.20pm to 1pm.
