Headmistress, 42, kisses boy during school tour, in soup

A 42-year-old headmistress of Government High School, Murugamalla in Chintamani taluk, Chikkaballapur district, has been suspended for behaving inappropriately with a student during a recent school excursion. Photographs and videos of the incident went viral on social media. The Chikkaballapur deputy director of public instruction visited the school and found that the headmistress had deleted some of the pictures and videos. Efforts are being made to retrieve them. The incident took place during an educational tour to Horanadu, Dharmasthala, Yana. The headmistress had joined the department as a primary school teacher in 2005.
