Blackmailing ex-GF booked for driving man to kill self

A 20-year-old man from Powai hanged himself to death allegedly due to blackmail by his former girlfriend. The man's father claimed that the woman demanded Rs 1 lakh and threatened to frame him in a second police case. Earlier, the man spent three months in Taloja jail after the woman lodged a police complaint of stalking. The deceased's cellphone revealed chat messages where the woman threatened to file another complaint. No arrest has been made as the investigation is ongoing.
