Allergic to 'Congress grass': Piyush Goyal's jibe at opposition Congress in Rajya Sabha

Piyush Goyal, leader of the House in the Rajya Sabha, took a jibe at the Congress, stating that he is allergic to 'Congress grass', an invasive weed. Goyal asked Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav about this weed during the Question Hour. Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar mentioned that Yadav comes from a place where the weed was a big challenge. Yadav, a senior BJP leader, agreed to meet Goyal separately to discuss the issue. 'Congress grass' or parthenium hysterophorus, originally from tropical America, was accidentally introduced to India in 1955.
