The upcoming Garhwali feature film 'Naam Namak Nishan' was recently filmed in Harsil, showcasing the life of soldier Gabar Singh Negi who fought in WWI and was posthumously awarded the Victoria Cross. The film aims to highlight the culture, natural beauty, and talent of Uttarakhand. The shoot provided extra income to locals and offered them roles in the film.
