Sharad Pawar opposed the Maratha quota most: Devendra Fadnavis

Deputy chief minister Devendra Fadnavis criticized NCP Chief Sharad Pawar for opposing the Maratha reservation demand. Fadnavis stated that Pawar never wanted to grant reservation to Marathas despite having the power to do so. He mentioned the missed opportunities during the Mandal Commission era. Fadnavis also highlighted that the BJP granted and defended the reservation during their tenure but it was dismissed by the Supreme Court under the Maha Vikas Aghadi government. Fadnavis expressed surprise at Uddhav Thackeray and Supriya Sule supporting reservation despite their previous opposition.
