Israel-Hamas conflict, important topic element of discussion between India, Oman: FS Kwarta

Foreign secretary Vinay Kwatra informed that the Israel-Hamas conflict was discussed between PM Modi and Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik of Oman. They signed a joint vision agreement for collaboration in areas like maritime, connectivity, green energy, space, digital payments, health, tourism, agriculture, and food security. The bilateral trade between India and Oman was valued at $12.5 billion. An important achievement was the announcement of the third tranche of the India-Oman Joint Investment Fund, a 50-50 joint venture between the State Bank of India and the Oman Investment Authority, worth $300 million.
