'Honey trapped' Naval Dock trainee shares info with Pak operatives, held

The Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has arrested Gaurav Patil, a 22-year-old trainee civil apprentice at the Naval Dock in Thane, for leaking sensitive information on restricted areas to Pakistani intelligence operatives. Patil, who hails from Jalgaon district, was honey trapped by operatives posing as women on social networking sites. The ATS is investigating the money trail and examining Patil's social media accounts. This is the second case registered by the ATS under the Official Secrets Act this year.
