BJP MLA Diya Kumari meets JP Nadda in Delhi

BJP MLA Diya Kumari met with party president JP Nadda in New Delhi to convey her best wishes for the party's victory in assembly elections. Kumari, who won from the Vidyadhar Nagar constituency, tendered her resignation as a Lok Sabha MP. She joined public service as an MLA and met the Prime Minister and other senior party leaders. Kumari is a top contender for the chief ministerial post. The BJP won a stunning mandate in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan, forming the government in the latter with 115 seats. Congress trailed with 69 seats.
