Chhattisgarh: NOTA finishes third in 20 assembly constituencies

The NOTA option received the third-highest votes in the Chhattisgarh assembly elections, surpassing independent candidates, JCC-J, and BSP. Six constituencies in the Bastar region recorded the third-highest number of NOTA votes. In the Dantewada constituency, the CPI candidate secured the third position in a tough battle against NOTA. A total of 1,97,678 voters opted for NOTA, which exceeded the total votes earned by the Janata Congress Chhattisgarh-Jogi, the regional party founded by former chief minister Ajit Jogi. The NOTA vote share was lower compared to the previous elections in Chhattisgarh.
