Chennai residents want liquor shop moved, to get one more 100m away

Residents of Pattabiram will now get another Tasmac outlet opposite the Sridhara Perumal temple. They have been struggling against the first Tasmac shop which was initially adjacent to the temple. The residents are still trying to get the shop shifted as it falls in residential, temple, hospital, and school zones. Another shop is being set up in front of the temple, though the entrance will face Kumaran Street. Both Tasmac shops are hardly 100 metres apart.
