India requests evidence of attack on Indian consulate in San Francisco under MLAT

The Indian government has requested evidence from the US authorities under the Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty in relation to the San Francisco consulate case. The case involves 45 people who were identified in an attack on the Indian consulate in San Francisco. Pro-Khalistani entities trespassed into the consulate and attempted to set it on fire, raising slogans, damaging the building, and injuring officials. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has registered a case and conducted further investigations, including a visit to San Francisco by a team of NIA officials.
