Saryu water lake to add spiritual grace to new Ayodhya township

A new greenfield township is being developed in Ayodhya, India, which will include Hindu temples, ashrams, and a large lake filled with water from the holy river Saryu. The township will be situated on both sides of the Lucknow-Gorakhpur highway and will help reduce congestion in the existing temple town. The project will also include residential plots, group housing, commercial plots, and five-star hotels. Several states, including Gujarat, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, Madhya Pradesh, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, and Maharashtra, have approached the Uttar Pradesh government for land in the new Ayodhya township.
